About

I’ve been a cabinet maker for over 30 years. By day, I program and run large projects, on CNC machines, for the stores you see in every mall. I’ve also been building kitchens, closets, bedroom and bathroom furniture.

I’ve always had a passion for designing and creating. After a lot of research and consideration, I purchased an C02 laser about a year ago and have been experimenting and learning. This is the next step in my making journey. I’m very excited to share what I have so far and there is a lot more coming. I hope you enjoy what you see!

About my Acrylics pages; acrylic is an alternative to glass that I use for etching with my laser. Sometimes called acrylic glass, it’s a transparent thermoplastic often used as a lightweight or shatter-resistant alternative to glass. In short, it looks like glass but it’s lighter and won’t shatter. Do take care with acrylic though, it will scratch. The acrylic I use is 1/8"” thick.

About LED bases; these are a lot of fun. LED stands for light emitting diode. The fun part is that these have a number of colours that they cycle through, or you can choose to stay put on the colour you like most. Colours are red, blue, green, and cream. They also come with a remote control so you don’t have to get up if you change your mind.

About my wood products; most are made with a combination of baltic birch, mahogany and oak plywoods.
